No , you mean it wont crank! over. if it can't crank , how would it start? (no m/t option , no push starting possible on the grands.)
if the voltage gauge dropped driving? that means the charge system failed, and if you drive for 1hr the battery goes dead and the EFI system goes dead lacking power, takes 10v or more to run it. so that is not the starter failure.! ok? step 1 besides fuse checks is battery voltage. 12.6vdc rested is good. and battery lugs green, clean them? are head lamp dim? do jumper cable jumps start car???????? a simple test, and very revealing,, omg, the starter works,! and battery is toast.

That might be a starter motor problem. Put it in reverse with the handbrake (emergency brake) and the ignition OFF while its on level ground. Rock it back and forth. If it then starts you probably have a dead spot on the starter motor and it need be replaced although if moneys tight the rocking trick is a good fix that lasts indefinitely (pain in the button, especially if it's raining).If it still won't start... When you turn the ignition on, do the dash lights illuminate as normal? If not you may have a deeper electrical problem...
