Hi please can you advise? I have a Tricity Bendix tumble dryer model: BTD03 Type: PS10212 Prod No: 916092048/01 Ser No:44000103 On switching the dryer on the element heats up then goes cold. I have taken both thermostats out of the circuit and the element works perfectly. I believe that one or possibly both of the thermostats are faulty. They are coloured with a white spot (92c) and a yellow spot (160c). My main question is how does both of these thermostats work? Am I right in thinking that as soon as the temp reaches 92 deg C it open circuits and the 160 deg C is a second safety device in case the first one fails? I would like to replace both thermostats but am unable to find the exact temps. Any help would be most welcome. My email address Is [email protected] Regards. Brian
