0,1,4,7 Keys acting up. I have a ti-83 and recently changed the batteries. I noticed that when i pressed the 0,1,4 and 7 keys the APPLICATIONS screen would always pop up. I am unable to perform any calculations. How can this problem be solved

First of all i would give a factory reset a try, if you press 2nd then the + button then scroll down to reset and do a full factory reset, that might fix your problem if it's software based, which would be my guess since it happened after you did something.
