09 have used less than 10 times have had my electric all checked by licensed prof. even changed electrical socket which was not the problem. i pd. four hundred nineteen dollars for something i am afraid to use my mom has the same one and it does not do this even when used on a higher temp. it is still under warranty for another yr. i do not want some jack leg repair thank you

If you are using an extension cord to plug up this then that will do that.you shouldnt use extra cords plug unit in to wall socket. i dont know if this helps but sometimes this is over looked. best of luck.
if you put a better cord on the heater it should be fine.
