I have a jl audio 250/1 amp it powers up but no sound comes out i have changed the rc cables and checked the wireing on the subs and they r good but the protect light is not on tho only light that is on is the power light

You may have a bad output on the amplifier. I would recommend taking it to a local electronics repair to have fixed, or visit a local stereo shop - preferably a JL Audio dealer. Visit their website at www.jlaudio.com to find a dealer near you. You can have your amplifier sent in to JL Audio for repair by an authorized dealer and you'll get a warranty on the repair work.
