1 is tuned wrong
So i just got my amp installed about a week ago & i had 2 10 infinity subs at that point i didnt like the way they sounded so i got a 12 power pyramid for 800 watts & had a friend mess with amp frequencies literally just mess with them im thinking i have too much power going to the subs so thats why it started smoking is the sub done for or do i need to give it a breather or something & i have another sub as well but i dont want to connect it to the amp if the amp is just going to fry it.please helpp

If the sub is new, they need to be broken in.
All sub woofers need a break in period of about 5 to 6 hours at medium volume.
The reason is because the glue needs to be cured. This is done by the heat from working.
If you are giving it too much volume too soon, you are burning the glue.
Back off the subs and only play them at medium volume for about a week.
