1 low voltage -keeps shutting off at high volume
Alright i just install a jl 1000/1 and a jl 300/4,
300/4 running all the jl audio xr components and 1000/1 running 1 10" mtx 9500
i ran a 4 gauge wire to the back of the truck to a sunami digital splitter,
converts it to 2- 8 gauge for dual amp install, read out ius about 13.4 to 13.6 from battery.
my ground is a 4 gauge connected to a sunami splitter converts it to 2-8 gauge wirings, now my 300/4 stays on no matter how high i have the volume, but the 1000/1 low voltage light comes on and shuts down for a sec or until i turn the volume down, jl specs recommend to used 4 gauge for this amp and i am running 8 gauge, could this be the proplem or is it my ground?
please help.

You should definitely upgrade the power wire to the sub amp to 4 gauge -absolutely your choking your amp its starving for current-poor thing is starving !!!!!!!
