1 of my brake pads came off while driving it was the drivers side rear went and bought new break pads had a buddy of mine try to put the new pads on he can't seem to put the caliber back over the new pads this is a Grand Prix 2005 3800 litter engine v6

Did you compress the piston? If you didn't, you won't get it in there! You can always use a large C clamp.
