1. The power light does not turn green on the main box. Seems to be a poor way to start. 2. Our television is set up with three sets of plugs - video 1 with red, white, yellow and a S-video slot; video 3 with red, white, yellow slots; (DVD player); video 4 with red, white, Pr (red), Pb (blue), Y (green). 3. The instructions that came with the box are so minimal that I have no idea which cables go where since they can't all go in the same video input set. I've tried different combinations but get nothing. Perhaps Item 1 is the problem, but I have no clue. 4. Please, can I get some instructions that help a person who is not a gamer and does not understand all the cables. I want to use the TV to show photographs from my laptop. I've been fussing with this adapter for some months and keep giving up in frustration. It is way to late to be able to return it to Fry's where I bought it

Hi, I am Steve, lets get you some help Firstly the device you have does not do what you are trying to do so that could be your initial problem. The device you have brought is designed to capture analog images and pass them into the computer in a digital format so you can record them to DVD. so you can connect you Video recorded to it and send the images to the computer and they are converted to Digital format. What you want to do is send pictures from your PC to your TV. Depending on the TV you have there are lots of different solutions. The easiest way is to save your pictures to your USB stick and plug the USB stick into your TV (If is supports it) or your DVD player. Alternatively you can burn images to a DVD or CD and play them from your DVD player.
