10" Contractor's Saw II - Model 36-640
Although I've had this saw for years, I really don't use it very often at all. Today, it was working fine for my first cut. When I raised the blade a little for my second cut, I heard a "clunk" sound. When I stated the motor to make my second cut, it stalled. I turned it off right away, unplugged it and looked for the cause. The motor itself has shifted down a lot, making both sides of the belt hang up severely on the metal horizontal brace of the saw stand. What do you suggest?
