The power supply you have should work 120V ac supply with output voltage 12VDC and 1.5A. 1. You just have to make sure supply voltage from your outlet is also 120V and not 220V. 2. You make sure that the crown plug of the power supply fits the crown jack of the dvd player. Make sure that the polarity of the crown plug was same as the polarity for the crown jack in your unit. 3. Other thing to concern is the ampere, 1.5A for the power supply will heats up easily as compared to the replacement power supply I gave which has 2.5A.
