1200 connecting to Snow Leopard Mac OS
Hello--

I've had a 12/1200 for a number of years. It's the fourth GCC I've owned,
and is by far the best printer I've ever had. I'm 110% satisfied with every
aspect of it.

My problem is not with the printer itself, but here's the situation:

I'm all Mac, and have used the printer via AppleTalk with four Macs of
various ages. Until a few days ago, all the Macs were running Leopard (X.5)
or older operating systems, and there were no problems whatsoever.

I updated my two Intel machines from X.5 to Snow Leopard (x.6) and found
that this OS version does not support AppleTalk.

So I'm assuming I'll have to switch to TCP/IP connectivity on these two
Macs. Can that be done, and if so, can the two older machines remain with
AppleTalk or do all four Macs need to be changed?

I'm no wizard with this stuff, so any help you could give me would be
greatly appreciated. I also left a phone message with tech support.

Thanks in advance, I'm open to any and all suggestions.

Best,
ed
