My sub is smoking i'm thinking the amp is tuned improperly and so its throwing to much power to the subs causing it to smoke is my sub done for is there anyway for me to find out also i have another pair of subs but i don't want to connect them just for the amp to fry them as well..please somebody tell me you know what's going on

If the sub is new, they need to be broken in.
All sub woofers need a break in period of about 5 to 6 hours at medium volume.
The reason is because the glue needs to be cured. This is done by the heat from working.
If you are giving it too much volume too soon, you are burning the glue.
Back off the subs and only play them at medium volume for about a week.
Sounds like you burnt your voice coil. Turn your amp down then install other sub and turn up amp slowly to determine what you subs can handle. Good Luck.
