Patrick, I am having the same issue. This is where I get a bit lost 'Once the preasure roller is back down look into the machine, there is a gear with 2 holes in it.The hole on the left must be in line with the hole in the frame, the hole on the right on the gear must not line up to any holes but show to the exit side on the machine.' I am working on a Riso GR3770, but should be somewhat similar-I hope. Are you able to explain where this 'gear with 2 holes in it is'. Many thanks. Josh
It seems as if the machine was not in the home position when the drum was pulled out. The pressure roller is in the up position stopping the drum from entering. To reset the pressure roller, you will have to remove the back cover, behind the power supply you will see a arm with a heavy spring on it. pull the arm up until it clips into the solenoid. Once the preasure roller is back down look into the machine, there is a gear with 2 holes in it. The hole on the left must be in line with the hole in the frame, the hole on the right on the gear must not line up to any holes but show to the exit side on the machine. I hope this helps you Regards
