17" lcd monitor V7
I have this monitor (V7 900W on the case) that is having a problem and I want to try to fix it.However, I need some help diagnosing the issue. What happens is that it shuts down itself after a few seconds of operation.Or rather, it seems as if the backlight shuts off because the power light remains on, and if you look carefully you can even see a faint silhouette of the displayed image in the panel. If you turn it off and turn it back on the bright picture returns but it will go off again in another few seconds. Also, I have it attached to a KVM switch. If I switch machines while it is giving the problems it will also come back on before going off in a few seconds. However, it has a time when it will decide to work fine for hours on end.I have been doing some research and have seen people say the problem could be the inverter board or lights but most likely the inverter board.Does anyone here have experience with

90% of LCD monitors failures are due to bad caps, as you can see in my albums.
Most common failures in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply, failed inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). You will need to open it up and inspect the inside, see example of failed monitors to get some ideas what to look for: http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums
Post back what you see inside so we can guide you further and it will help out other people in the future also.
