I have tried all of the codes for the Comcast Series 3 remote and I can't find one that controls the Magnavox television model number 15MF605/17. This is very frustrating since I had no trouble with my Toshiba and my Sony televisions. I have tried all sorts of combinations since the remote apparently only takes 5 digit codes but nothing works.

Not every remote will control every TV. You basically have 3 options. 1) Call Comcast and see if they have additional codes not listed on their website/documentation 2) Call Magnavox and see if they have additional codes that might work with your remote. 3) Buy a 3rd party remote that works with both your comcast box and your television.
