18 scale losi late model. Recently the steering has been an issue. It will twitch and turn to the right without an notice while racing. I changed the servo but the problem still exists
I see that you mentioned you 1/18 scale mini late model RTR twitches to the right while racing and that you replaced the servo but the problem still exsist.
I believe the problem will not be with the servo but most probably with your transmitter or the reciever.
If I may ask does this happen only when you are in a race? or does this happen as well even if you are not in a race and there is no one else but you?
If this happens only when you are in a race and and does not happen if your alone then something is wrong with your Transmitter and reciever, Possible it is recieving some interuption from other transmitters.
Hi, thanks for the added info so you use a differen car as well do you use the same transmitter for the other car?
You mentioned that the other car as well twitches when in a race then goes away for a while then twitches again.
have you tried a different Transmitter / Remot control, the reciever on the cars I can also be a cause on the issue but trying a different transmitter first will give you the answer which also will be cheaper instead buying a reciever for both cars to see if there will be changes on the twitching.
I had one before but was not able to play with it for that long, from my little experince the remote control should have a crystal in it which is actually the signal is coming fomr and is like the IP address of the remote control I just am not sure if that will be the same as what RTR's have now a days, and the remote i had before was the Old type which is the stick type remote instead of the Gun type remote control.
But then again check your transmitter try a different transmitter see the differenc if teh twitching will go away if not then try replacing the recievers on the cars you have.Hi, thanks for the added info so you use a differen car as well do you use the same transmitter for the other car?

Yes it sounds like an issue with that part. That is what receives signals from the radio control. I would try a different one of those. if you know anyone that also races that scale you can just switch them out to test it then you would know if that is the issue. Thank you, Lee
Well are you running am/fm/or digital 2.4 if your trims are set correctly and your servo is good. check your servo saver make sure its not stripped out if that is good then your losing either battery volts bad pack and or your receiver / transmitter is faulty.
umm the little box your servo plugs into is the reciver and yes it could be a faulty reviver or transmitter or you may need a stronger battery aka higher volts depending on servo power draw but regardless the servo tx/rx and servo saver and battery are all that control steering aside from trim settings please state what type of system your running and all before leaving a review i been in the hobby for 7 years have planes helis mt and cars electric and nitro i know my stuff please give a more descriptive issue when you replyumm the little box your servo plugs into is the reciver and yes it could be a faulty reviver or transmitter or you may need a stronger battery aka higher volts depending on servo power draw but regardless the servo tx/rx and servo saver and battery are all that control steering aside from trim settings please state what type of system your running and all before leaving a review i been in the hobby for 7 years have planes helis mt and cars electric and nitro i know my stuff please give a more descriptive issue when you reply
