1984 ALFA ROMEO SPYDER 2.0
THIS ALFA WAS BROUGHT TO ME ON A HOOK. MOST OF THE GROUNDS I HAD TO REPLACE TO GET IT TO CRANK INCLUDING THE BATTERY. ALL THE IGNITION IS NEW AND SO IS THE FUEL SYSTEM THE WORKS. INCLUDING THE O2 SENSOR IS NEW. THE CAR STARTS AND IDLES GREAT. BUT WHEN YOU GIVE IT HALF THROTTLE OR MORE IT BOGS DOWN AND POPS AND RUNS BAD AND WILL BEARLY MOVE. IM RUNNING OUT OF OPTIONS WITH THIS VEHICLE AND THE ONLY THING THAT I CAN THINK OF IS IT IS RELATED TO THE EXHAUST SENSOR LIGHT THAT IS ON THE DASH BUT I DONT KNOW HOW TO FIX IT!!! DOES ANYONE KNOW MORE ABOUT THESE I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE IT!

Make sure the rubber boot on the mass airflow sensor/intake is seated properly and clamped down tighly. Sometimes when it is loose the torque reaction from the engine will cause the boot to pull away and it sucks air which will cause it to fall flat on its face and buck and surge.
