1984 Ford F-150 not getting spark
I have a 1984 Ford F-150 6 Cylinder that has been sitting for four years. I haven't been able to get it started. Doesn't appear to be getting any spark. I have checked for a spark with a timing light and have double checked the timing light to make sure it works. I have charged the battery. I checked the distributor cap but I wasn't really sure what I was looking for. I am not sure what to check now.

Check and make sure you have voltage at the ignition coil connector, if you do replace the ignition moduel and the pick up coil, pick up sit in ignition distributor and moduel sit on the inside side of the drives side fender.
There is a ignition module on the fender well,on drivers side,it is most likely bad,not exspensive, and it is most likely the problem, replace it and you will get the spark back. The module is square, and flat, most of the time it is silver color, and has two sets of wires coming from it,that go to two connectors, these connectors are black,If this was at all helpful, please rate, thank you.
