1988 c3500 Farther I press accelerator down the more it feels like its stalling
It seems to get worse when it gets warmer. It will drive decently if I just barely press the gas and keep it going but when I try to get over 50 it feels likes its wanting to stall. But when it gets warmer I can't even make it out of first gear cause as soon as I press the gas it stalls out, but it will idle fine in gear or in neutral. I have already replaced the fuel pump and fuel filter, plugs, rotor, wires (all before this problem occurred) and I just recently put in a new Throttle Position Sensor. And I also rebuilt the TBI with new seals and gaskets and cleaned out he old injectors, all before this problem popped up. It was running fine till one day I was going down a hill and down shifting and when I pushed the clutch in to stop it stalled and shut off. I thought It was a fluke and started it back up but that's when the trouble started. It has since shut off when I push the clutch in all the way. I don't think I need a new clutch because it feels fine and doesn't feel like its slipping but I honestly don't know.

I think I would take a look at the catalytic converter. Sounds like it has become plugged and they will become more so as it gets hotter. Pull it loose and look in the front side to see what kind of shape the comb is in, should be obvious if that is it.
