1990 Buick Park Avenue heat works intermittently
Last winter while sliding on snow I threw my car in reverse instead of neutral and the car died instantly. From that exact point the heat(blower) works intermittently. Initially I thought the blower was out as it didn't work until the mechanic switched between positions and and high, low and auto. It began to work and it has worked occasionally since. Untill a week ago it hadn't worked in, at least, a month or better regardless of the settings. The defrost worked once last week but not for long. It almost feels as if there isn't enough power to keep the blower blowing and subsuquently it just stops. At a stop the car idols up and down while the heat is switched on weather working or not. If I shut it off entirely the idol is suddenly smooth. I know in my gutt it's electrical.
