1990 Cadillac Fleetwood Left turning light or emergency lights go on but don't flash. The right turning light flashes well. If I turn the handle not all the way left and move it a bit the left light begins to flash while the handle is kept in this position. Looks like a bad contact or wire in the handle, but why the emergency lights don't flash then? Thank you for your care

Replace the trun signal switch. it is common for these to wear out. cheers
You most likely need a new blinker switch - the emergency flasher is also most likely bad - there is one flasher for turn signals - and one for the emergency lights --
Replacing a blinker switch is best left to the pros --
also - Take down the Vin # and call the local dealer - - ask about recalls and Service bulletins.
