1992 Buick Century tail & dask lights went out - blow fuses
Dash lights went out first, then the tail lights. Brake light works! We had a mechanic check today, and he cannot find the problem.
Anyone figure this out??

I would imagine the mechanic checked the fuses, so i would say it has a bad headlight switch or the power feed to it.
I wish I knew as much about computers as i do about cars!!!!
If you look at the diagram you can isolate the dash lights, radio, and all the illumination lights away from the Front, rear and plate light at the back of the headlight switch. Do that and put the fuse in, If it blows the problem is in the front, rear, or plate light circuit. If it does it is a problem with dash lights or illumination. This will narrow down your seach. Do this and let me know, then we'll go deeper. Don't worry, you'll figure it out.
