1993 1 ton 4x4 suburban with a 4l80E tranny 1st and reverse only
Truck only has 1st gear and reverse the service engine soon light is on want to be on the right direction b4 i spend the money to rebuild oh the tranny fluid has been changed 100% but the fluid on the dipstick is foaming when checked as well

Your getting waer or antifreeze into the tranny,you need too either put an aux cooler on it or replace the raidator!!!!
then change the tranny fluid again also drain the tourq converter!!!!
try this before you rebuild the tranny!!!!
