1993 Buick Century. Would quit on road but would start up again. Now it will only start up and run for a few seconds then die. Have changed fuel filter. Whats my problem? Pete

Can be many but will start with the most common --egr valve remove and clean possible carboned up use a carb cleaner also clean he exhaust tube--pcv valve clogged --fuel pump-air filter -distributor cap wires electronics--cat converter clogged --- good luck
