1993 honda accord engine service light is on and Shift drive D4
I have 1993 honda accord. what bothers me is that the engine servise indicator light is on and goes off when i stop the engine and when i restart the engine for a while it will turn on again. the shift indicator the Drive 4 (D4) also flashes at the same time. what is wrong with my car. this has been going for the past 2 monhts.

It means your auto gearbox has a problem, which needs to be rectified, go to a qualified mechanic before its too late, as overtime, faulty gearboxes tend to break down more resulting in higher repair costs
If the drive light flashes there COULD be a trans problem. The Ck Engine light and the D4 light are on for the same reason. Take it to a qualified repair shop to have it checked out. Find a shop that regularly works on HONDA and not some chain store operation.
