1993 olds shiloette van pulls to next lane on acceleration, darts back on deceleration, this is very severe, often does it in curves also, not sure what to check first, it has 273,000 miles , not sure if it engine mounts, balljoints or a-arms

Check swing arm bushing. My frame was rotted out where swing arm bushing were. This part of the frame is replaceable
Start with your tire pressure, if one tire pressure is lower then the other. It will pull on the tire that has more air in it, always start with the simple and make sure all the tires are at 32 PSI.
This is common to front wheel drive cars and vans and also worn struts and shocks will cause this with under inflated tries.

Darts lane when NOT accelerating, You have worn steering parts like tie rod ends, shocks, struts, and sounds to me your Van needs a wheel alignment. Your front wheel sound like they have lost there toe in or there caster from worn strut mounts.
Start with the tire pressure as mentioned and turn you wheel left to right and look and listen for any signs of worn parts that will need to be replaced. The way the tire thread wear will also help indicate what's wrong with your vans steering.
Are these vans front wheel drive? It sounds like a bad CV joint if it is.
