1994 Ford F150 will not start
1994 Automatic Ford F150. I have to push up on the gear shift in order for the key to start the engine. If I don't do that, the key turns, without clicking or catching and will not start the truck.

I had that happen also.
I discovered the steering column was worn out on the inside.
There are parts inside the column that can break or wear, causing this.
Options are a used steering column or a really good mechanic to tear it apart and try to fix it.
Those particular parts may not be available anywhere except a junk/salvage yard.
God bless your efforts.
