1995 ford escort lx
Engine runs very ruff and tries to stall at redlights. new radiator, tune up done 4 mths ago. check engine light on, but mechanic found no codes on scanner and compression was fine. he was stumped. he said problem may need to get worse to diagnose. please help!

Your catalytic converter plugging up will cause these problems. if it gets bad enough it won't allow engine to run at all, to much back pressure.
