1998 chevy 1500 with a 5.7 l vortec . has a no start issue. the truck just cranks. fuel pump is working and i have very faint spark all plugs and coil are new.when turnnig over nothing happens but when you release the key there is a popping and white smoke from the throttle body

Check the crank sensor also the cam sensor as well even dirt around or on the crank sensor can cause weak fire! on vorteck! also check the ignition module itself
