1998 nissan frontier 2 wheels drive pick up engine cuts out at 100 mph or at 160kmh.Is this because it has a speed governor?
I was driving along on the freeway and wanted to see if I could burry the speedometer which tops out at 180kmh.The engine cut out at 160kmh is this because of a speed governor?

For mstarters and your ownSAFETY.. dont reattempt this..it may also be that low oil pressure in the block caused the fuel pump to cut oput so you wont blow the engine..why do something so stupid??just drive it and do it safely please..the life you save will be YOUR OWN..
