1999 saab 9-3 tonneau cover releases but will not open
Tonneau cover releases but dose not open on its own. I can open it and the top will continue to operate to the open position. the same thing when closing the top. Tonneau cover releases but dose not open under its own power.

Whatever the issue you will be unable to get parts (and you will need them for this type of problem), sorry you got taken in when you bought this car by GM
