2 20 volt b&d trimmers quit after using for a while and stopping to rest

Put a fresh battery in each one after weedeater and I had cooled down but neither one would run again.

Garden - Weedeater

My initial guess is that the unit overheated and cooked the motor. It not unheard of, especially if you were using it hard.
