2 mile before the engine sputtered and shut down again. This time the engine would not restart. There are no engine codes showing on the OBD II tester. There were ABS and VDC warning lights on before this engine problem. The local Nissan dealer says there is no connection between the two problems. They also have no idea what is going on with the engine and lack of trouble codes. Any help would be appreciated
Well first of all, who ever gave you the idea of using ether to start your Titan should be strung up to the rafters and shot with frozen paint balls. Using ether to try to start this vehicle can lead to the heads separating from the block. Do not tell the dealer that you did this!!!
Is the fuel pressure ok? Do you still have spark? Its possible that a cam position sensor is not responding/relaying a signal.
Without looking through your engine, I would guess that it is probably an injector problem, or maybe a clogged fuel line which would not register any codes because they have no sensors to record any fault. I hope this help please rate this thank you
