2 mouse
The mouse has been connected to one of the serial port connectors from the beginning. There is no indication that anything is wrong except the mouse no longer works. I've tried another mouse but it isn't responded to either.
I wonder whether or not adding a cable connected to the PS/2 Mouse Pin Header would work? If so, where I can get such a cable? (The same question applies to the use of the USB Pin Header.)

Sounds like the serial port died. I have seen that happen before. You could try a DB9 to PS/2 adapter or DB9 to USB. The DB9 to PS/2 is cheaper of the 2.
Hope this helps.
