2 of my fuel tank straps fell off and are dragging
I have a 1996 buick roadmaster limited. i was driving and went over a speed bump and heard a loud noise. i looked under the car and saw these 2 straps hanging from under my gas tank i guess they rusted out. if i was to purchase 2 more are they easy to switch out and how do i do that? i appreciate any help. my email is [email protected]

Yes it's a relatively easy fix.
First you'll need to remove the broken straps then put the tank back in place and support it with some jack stands(check the wires and fuel lines before you put the tank in place) Now start the car and check for leaks. If it won't start make sure the tank level and that it has fuel in it. If that's ok then you'll need to do some more checking with the wiring for the fuel pump. Now you will want to install the new straps and remove your jack stands.

there are usually a bolt on one end of the strap and a hook mechanism on the other to remove the old ones remove the bolt and un hook the other........repeat this procedure on thwe other. To re-install hook the one end into the hook mechanism and run the strap under the tank and install the bolt.......repeat this procedure for the remaining strap.
