2 the power). Looked and found a very small spring that was hanging - think that is the problem, but can't figure out where the other part should be (owners manual really isn't much help)

Remove the air filter assembly so you can see the top off the carby there is a metal tag with one hole and there should be two pieces one spring and metal ,the other end goes too the rear of the engine were it attaches to a lever that controls the engine .there is also a metal link that goes from the throttle to the same place hope this helps
