2 Watt 2.7 OHM resistor as the original one sas green, with a red, dark blue or purple (maybe black??) and two gold stripes. My replacement resistor is the same size. Can you advise if my RK62 resistor is correct and if there anything else I can do to fix the horizontal blue lines that curve down on the right side of the screen and the top left side. Thanks

RK62 in this model is a 2.7 ohm 1 watt resistor (per the Hitachi site).
Let me ask you a few questions--did you check all the protect resistors? Sometimes you get one that looks perfect and is open.
Second, are you trying to adjust with the Hitachi remote in the customer menu or the TECH menu?
If in the customer menu you may need to go into the TECH menu and adjust and save there--if you get into the TECH menu and blue will not adjust somewhere--you probably have a bad resistor somewhere.
This all sounds familiar--I bet I helped you before--
