2000 4x4 XE 3.3 engine stalls out after reaching operating temperature, timing belt changed last fall and fuel pump changed. Vehicle will restart and may run for a while then problem returns. any ideas?
I have a 2000 nissan frontier crew cab. Great vehicle! about a year ago at around 100,000 miles she started stalling and running really rough. I replaced the distributor cap, all the spark plugs and wires...about $85.00 worth of stuff. She now runs like a champ again. I would recommend this if you have not done it...I have owned the truck since it had about 55,000 miles on it. I had never done any of these things...the spark plugs literally fell apart when I pulled them. The last plug is a total bear...it is all the way at the back very close to the firewall. "You will SEE a small "notch" in the fire wall...this is where you follow the notch down to the plug with your wrench..you will also need a 45degree elbow on the wrench with a long extender or you'll never get it off and the new one back on...it was a pain! Hope this helps. Aaron
