2001 Beetle GLS 2.0 Overheating- Two weeks ago the car was overheating quickly, red temperature light flashing and beeping. I changed the thermostat, flushed the radiator and filled it with new fluid. As soon as I did that, the interior heat quit working, not even warm. So I took on the task of a new water pump behind the timing belt. Sure enough the fan on the water pump was melted and mangled. Put in a new water pump, new timing belt and tensioner from napa. A week later the car was overheating again and leaking a good amount of radiator fluid from the new water pump itself. Took it off and back to Napa and put on a new one yesterday. Today, it is overheating again. What's going on?!?! I don't think there is blockage because both the inlet and outlet hoses have heat and movement. A fixya expert said to check thermo switch, I replaced it and no change. The temperature gauge is still red and beeping! Checked all fuses too. HELP PLEASE
