I have a 2001 Isuzu Rodeo V6 4wd. While driving the car today we went off roading. I put the car into 4 wheel drive, no issue there, then after we were done on the dirt road I tried to put it back into 2wd. All the rodeo would do is blink the four wheel drive light at me. I drove it backwards and forwards to try and get it to shitf into 2wd. Unfortunately, I had to drive it home we were in a place with no cell service and I was on my own. I got home jacked the front of the car up. The front tires will spin forward but not backward in neutral, this is with the 4wd indicator blinking like it is trying to switch to 2wd. I am at a loss what to do here. I can't afford to take it to a shop was hoping this could be a home remedy fix or a weekend project with my buddies. I only use this car for fun play and snow storms and grocery trips.
