2001 saab 9-3. bought car with a pre-existing tranny problem, so dont really know the history of the symptoms. At this time it will not go into any forward or reverse gear when selected. There was a code for the output speed sensor. changed this sensor with no change. Tranny fluid is clean and does not appear to be contaminated. Any checks I can do before i replace the transmission?

Well some time its very small things
you have to check gear leaver it self
their will be small clip might it move from the place
and check also the cable of forwrod which going from leaver to gearbox
