2002 eclipse manual with bad transmission
Hi i have a 2002 eclipse manual with 32,000 miles on it and the tranny went out, do i have to take out the engine to get at the tranny? and is it really difficult to change the tranny with out taking it into a shop?

You dont have to remove the engine but having a good idea of what you are about to tackle would help including having the tools to do the job.
If you are not sure what you are doing your better off getting someone who does or you could end up in trouble
