2002 Lexus ES300 'input memorized data'?
I had to replace the battery in my 2002 Lexus ES 300. The radio works fine, and the doors & trunk can be unlocked with the remote, but the doors will not lock with the remote, I just get a long 'beeeeeeeeeep'! The manual that came with the car says that"the memorized data may need to be input into the computer" What does this mean, and how do I do it? (The car was purchased used, I don't know of any codes that were issued with it originally)

More often than not, the long "beeeeeeeeeep" can be traced to a door that is not closed properly, or a dome light switch for a door that is not working properly.
