2002 malibu battery light stays on replaced alternator and belt no help
Started with Alt light staying on so replaced alternator and belt. Alt light is now off but battery light stays on and drains battery in about 2 days.

Batt probly not chargn cause main wire in back of alt is wornout. Alternator tho sounds bad..it will drain a battery quik.Disconnect batt ovenite to confirm
I had the alternator replaced with a brand new one plus the belt. Alt problem seems to be fixed it is the bat light that now vexes me.
