Report "2002 Rodeo starts revs up to about 3rpm then slows to about 1rpm then lopes then stops. During this process the check engine light blinks on and off. I used this service a month or so ago. The problem then was that the same car was starting and idling fine but when I put it in gear (either Reverse or Drive) the engine would die. I was told to clean the EGR valve. I did that and it ran until now with only a couple of episodes where the car died when I put it in gear. I cleaned the EGR valve this morning, and now it dies"
