2002 Subaru Impreza leaking coolant; found the source was an OPEN hose leading INTO the engine compartment from the dashboard area! Anybody know what the hose is or should connect to?
The hose is just ... open! I have several pics but can't figure out a way to post them here. I thought maybe it should return to the radiator, but it looks like the intake on the radiator has a bolt cap on it, so maybe that's just for turbo.

Are you sure it isnt the condensate drain for your air conditioner? That's an open house that comes from your dash area and would leave a puddle of water after you park where the A/C has been on.
If you're sure it's antifreeze, that line could be from the heater core.
