I have a 2002 VW Cabrio... My first question is... I really want to get one of those "groovy" flip keys w/ alarm that VW's have but don't want to spend $500 for it at the dealership.Would it work if I buy an uncut VW flip key on ebay? My other question is....I have power door locks with alarm my car car, but the power door locks are not working. They will only work manually (alarm is working fine). I had them checked out by a mechanic and it is not a fuse or anything, he suggested that there was some sort of programing it needed. i called VW and they want to charge me $200 just to see "why" is not working and then charge me more money. I really don't wanna do this...Have any ideas of what i could do?
