2003 Saab 9-5 - I'm having the following problems. 1. The trunk will not open either from pressing the trunk release button and will not open from the remote. 2. On the monitoring console, a message is displayed indicating that the coolant needs to be refilled. However when I check the coolant holding bottle, it is full. 3. Temperature display on monitoring console - the numbers that make up the temp. are not displayed correctly - lines that make up the number are missing. Can you make any suggestions? Thank You!!!
1) The trunk opens with and electric solenoid in the trunk. It must receive power from fuse thru button or remote. I'm guessing you can open trunk with key? With help listen in trunk when release button pushed, you should hear some kind of "click". If not continue troubleshooting for power. 2) One of my cars (Jag) was doing same thing. Problem was dirty float in reservoir. I removed from car and cleaned thoroughly

#3 Not sure sounds like display malfunction.
