You have to be really careful with these newer vehicles. They have antitheft systems that communicate from key all the way to motor. If this original sequence gets broken (New Motor) the system can't communicate and shuts down the starter or injector. I would look into this first. There are companies that sell bypasses for it, here is a link with some info.
